Polyester staple filter cloth material performance: acid resistance, weak alkali resistance. Abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, good recovery, but very poor electrical conductivity. Polyester fiber is generally resistant to temperatures of 130 — 150 degrees Celsius, the product has the advantages of ordinary felt filter cloth, and wear resistance is very good, with a high cost performance and become the largest use of felt filter media varieties. Heat resistance: 120 ℃, elongation at break (%): 20-50, breaking strength (g / d): 438, melting point (℃): 238-240, melting point (℃): 255 a 260. specific gravity: 1.38. filtration performance: polyester staple fiber filter cloth raw material structure is short and hairy, woven fabric dense, good particle retention, but peeling, air permeability is poor. Nylon-fibre has high strength, 4-5.3Cndtex. Elasticity is more than 90% at 10% elongation. The abrasion resistance is the highest of all fibres, so it is the ideal material for making car tyres when pressed together with rubber. Nylon fibres are resistant to strong alkalis and weak acids. However, nylon is not resistant to light and is easily discoloured and brittle, so nylon fabrics should not be exposed to sunlight for a long time. Nylon 66 cannot be used in pharmaceuticals, food manufacturers, as it is toxic and harmful to human health.
